In fact, Montreal is 60 miles from the U.S. border, and easily accessible by
air or road.
By air, most major U.S. cities have direct connections to Montreal, which is serviced by all of the major
airlines: Delta, American, NorthWest, USAir, Continental, Air Canada. Flying time is less than 1 hour from
Boston, New York or Philadelphia, 2 hours from Atlanta or Detroit, or Cincinnati, 2 1/2 hours from Chicago,
3 hours from Miami. U.S. flights arrive to Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport,
which is a
20 minute cab ride from Laservue.
By road, Interstates 87, 89 & 91 all lead to highways which connect directly to Montreal. Laservue
is situated less than 1 mile from the major highway which bisects Montreal.
