International Lasik Experts Dr. Balazsi MD and Dr. Mullie MD are among the most experienced excimer laser surgeons in the world, and have taught many other eye surgeons from both Canada and the United States the skill of laser surgery.

During the introductory years of Lasik eye surgery equipment, these doctors were responsible for training of all new Bausch & Lomb Technolas laser centers. Dr. Balazsi MD and Dr. Mullie MD were also part of a small international group of surgeons selected in 1994 to develop, standardize and teach the LASIK procedure using the Bausch and Lomb instrument.

Our Laservue Canada experience and results have also led to many innovations in the treatment of vision disorders, and our doctors Lasik surgical expertise is in constant demand at international eye surgeon conferences or meetings with other Lasik specialists. Since 2002, Drs. Balazsi and Mullie have been invited to travel from Canada to present at the German Society of Eye Surgeons in Nurnberg, the International Society of Refractive Surgery in Orlando, the Canadian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery in Toronto, the VideoRefrattiva in Milan, Italy, and were both invited to participate as expert panelists at the Laser Education and Development (LEAD) meeting in Barcelona, Spain, and at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS) in Munich, Germany.
