The Montreal Laservue eye surgery clinic is a world leader in new technology corrective eye surgery expertise. In 1993, Drs. Balazsi and Mullie were the first to introduce the Bausch & Lomb -Technolas Keracor excimer laser to North America. In 1995, Laservue became one of the first corrective eye surgery clinics worldwide to exclusively use LASIK. Data submitted to the U.S. FDA has shown that over 98% of patients operated at Laservue are highly satisfied after LASIK.In December of 1996, Laservue was the first clinic in North America to take delivery of the world-leading Bausch & Lomb-Technolas Keracor 217 excimer laser with full small-spot scanning capability and proven data to correct myopia, hyperopia using LASIK nomograms.
In March 2001, Laservue Montreal became the second clinic in Canada, and the first in the North East to offer the latest generation of laser treatment: Bausch and Lomb's Zyoptix custom wavefront technology.
